TUDAV has organized an international workshop on the protection of endangered fish species of the Mediterranean between 13 and 15 October 2007. During the meeting, all the fish species of the Mediterranean were studied. This meeting was organized in cooperation with IUCN and 30 experts joined the meeting. 5 Turkish scientists were also actively present in the workshop. A book named Mediterranean Fishes Protection Status was published in October 2008.
