31 October International Black Sea Day, Marine Environment Workshop and Environmental Activities were organized by the Black Sea Commission and Ministry of Environment and Forestry between 30-31 October in Samsun. On the first day of the workshop, 30 national and international statements were presented about the state of marine and terrestrial pollution state in the Black Sea as well as the observational studies undertaken in this region. The second day, within the concept of celebrating the Black Sea Day, NGOs presented their speech to the public. After this, a trip was organized to the Kızılırmak Delta.

Our organization was represented with two presentations; Marine wastes in the West Black Sea coasts of Turkey and Black Sea Studies of TUDAV. Moreover, TUDAV presented a photo exhibition which was named “New Species” to the public for two days.
