The project entitled “Climate Change Adaptation for the Sea and Coasts of Antalya” is founded under the “Capacity Building in the Field of Climate Change in Turkey Grant Scheme” which is financed by the European Union and of which beneficiary institution is the Ministry of Environment and Urbanisation that consists of 38 grant projects. It is the first marine adaptation project to the climate change in Turkey conducted by the Antalya Metropolitan Municipality and the Turkish Marine Research Foundation (TUDAV) between the years of 2017-2019. Project activities focused on the effects of climate change on the marine and coastal environments, thus on the economy, cultural heritage and biodiversity and increasing awareness on marine environment and climate change.

We prepared, published and distributed this book for children (7500 books) to be distributed at the events held within the scope of the project, aiming to raise awareness to adopt marine culture and to protect our natural heritage. The book can also be downloaded from our website.
