Bir Gemi, Bir Denizaltı, Bir Batık. HMS Majestic ve U21'in Hikayesi

This academic study adopts a holistic approach to examining the sinking of the battleship HMS Majestic by the German submarine U-21 on 27 May 1915—one of the factors that influenced the outcome of the Battle of Gallipoli—and its current condition. By combining historical documents with data from the TÜBİTAK Marmara Research Centre, geophysical measurements and side-scan sonar images, the research sheds light on the wreck’s morphological structure and spatial location using an interdisciplinary methodology.
